Is uncensored AI safe to use?
The question hides three separate ones. Is your conversation private? Are the answers accurate? Can the tool cause harm? The first two have the same answers as for any assistant. The third is where uncensored chats genuinely differ, and the honest answer is that fewer refusals means more responsibility on the reader.
Safety is asked as one question and answered as three. Splitting them apart is the only way to get a useful answer, because the three have almost nothing in common beyond the word.

Is the conversation private?
This has nothing to do with censorship and everything to do with the service. Read what it says about accounts, retention and training, then check it: open the network tab in your browser and watch what the page sends. A service that requires no account cannot build a profile on you, because there is no identity to attach one to. A service that requires one usually does.
Are the answers accurate?
Exactly as accurate as any other model of the same size. Good on well-covered subjects, unreliable on specifics, and confident either way. Removing a refusal layer does not add errors, and it does not remove them. Anything with a number, a date, a dosage or a legal consequence needs a second source. That was true before the word uncensored entered the question.
Can it cause harm?
This is the real difference, and pretending otherwise would be dishonest. An assistant that declines a category cannot answer badly within it. One that answers will sometimes give you information you can misuse. What stays fixed here is two boundaries: sexual material involving minors is refused outright, and so is help to injure a real person. Everything else is answered on the assumption that an adult asked, which is the same assumption a library makes.
Who it suits and who it does not
It suits someone who wants the answer and takes responsibility for what to do with it. It does not suit someone looking for a tool that decides on their behalf what is safe to know. Both positions are reasonable. They are just different products, and it is worth knowing which one you opened.
Questions people ask first
Is uncensored AI dangerous?
The tool is a chat model. The risk is not that it exists. Any answer can be misused, and that holds for a search engine and a library too. The reasonable precaution is the ordinary precaution: verify anything with real consequences before acting on it.
Are there any limits at all?
Two, and neither moves. Sexual material involving anyone under eighteen is refused, and so is help to injure a real person, in every language and however the request is phrased. Nothing else is treated as a forbidden category.
Should I trust medical or legal answers?
Treat them as a starting point, never as a verdict. A model is good at explaining how something works and unreliable on the specific number that matters in your case. That advice is identical for a filtered assistant.
Ask something ordinary and see how the answer reads without a warning attached.
